BSW Product Classification

The Structured Securities Association (BSW) presented the new BSW Product Classification in July 2024. It encompasses the twelve most important categories of structured securities. With the BSW Product Classification, BSW and issuers contribute to ensuring that investors, whether self-directed or as part of investment advice, can make suitable investment decisions – be it for wealth building, wealth preservation, or private retirement planning.

The short version of the new BSW Product Classification includes a graphical representation of all product categories in relation to their return expectation and risks, as well as brief definitions of all product categories.
